Chroma

I have been invited to exhibit with three wonderful artists, at the Spring Gallery in Cheltenham, next month.

Jenny Westbrook creates superb abstract images. inspired by the colour and rhythm of music; Andy Goodwin makes delicate and subtle collages and Molly Abbott, makes exquisite ceramics. And then there is me, with my expressive landscapes, seascapes and flowers. What we all share is a love of colour.

The exhibition title, Chroma, refers to the purity, saturation, or strength of colour. The gallery information says:

This exhibition brings together four artists whose work explores colour, texture, form and expressive mark-making through painting, collage and ceramics. Inspired by landscape, memory, music and the natural world, each artist responds intuitively to their materials, creating vibrant and distinctive works that celebrate observation, experimentation and the joy of creative process. From expressive and abstract compositions to layered collages and sculptural ceramic forms, the exhibition invites viewers to connect with familiar subjects in new and uplifting ways.
