My First Blog

Well here goes…

Welcome to my first blog…..ever…..and it’s on my new website.

I’m so excited! I hope you like the site – please leave me a message on the CONTACT page if you do.

“I will try to write regular stuff on here, now that I am a full time artist, at last. I will also endeavour to update information and images, as I make paintings, drawings prints etc. and run workshops, classes and take part in events.

The current news is, of course, this site, for which I have a family member, my cousin Colin Dowling to thank. He is brilliant and created the site for me from Warrington. I haven’t seen him for 20 years! PM or e-mail me if you would like something similar and I will put you in touch with him.

Other News

I have given up full-time work, I am planning on clearing the top end of our garden, building a new studio and running classes from here and at local venues. I plan to continue teaching on cruise ships and working for Trinity College London, as an Arts Awards moderator. I have a solo exhibition planned for next summer at The Wilson, Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum and I will continue to show with the Cheltenham Group of Artists.
